One of my favourite quotes is, “The day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit.” 🍇🌱🍒🥝 I think about it often, especially during seasons where I feel like I’m not moving fast enough. We’re already half way through the year, and it’s a fresh start to the month. I know It’s sooooo easy to look around and feel behind when the things you’ve been working towards haven’t happened yet. But growth has never worked that way. Just because you can’t see something happening doesn’t mean nothing is happening. . This June, I hope you remember to to trust the process a little more and stop treating time like it’s against you. Don’t focus too hard on digging up the seed every five minutes to check if it’s growing. So, I recently got invited to an @apple entrepreneur and small business event, a space I’ve dreamed of being in for a long time and being there reminded me of something. That so many of the things we hope for often feel so far away until one day they’re right in front of us. I think one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that you can’t wait until you feel completely ready to go after what you want. Most of the opportunities that we so badly desire happen when you choose to keep MOVING and TRYING despite the uncertainty and embarrassment. So if you’ve been doubting yourself lately or questioning whether you’re capable, this is your reminder to keep showing up for yourself. You don’t need to have everything figured out to take the next step. Just try and keep moving 🤍🫂 Also, huge thank you to Apple for including me in this experience.
