Why a story may not appear
Expired or deleted
Stories usually disappear after about 24 hours and can be removed earlier by the creator. Expired media cannot be restored here.
Private visibility
Private and followers-only media are not delivered as public content. A public viewer cannot change that account setting.
Lookup or platform limits
A renamed username, region rule, temporary error, or upstream change may stop an otherwise public story from loading.
