Privacy Policy
How TTViewer handles data: public viewing, optional accounts, analytics, ads, and safety opt-out requests.
Effective date: July 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information TTViewer ("we", "us") processes when you use our website and related tools. We focus on viewing publicly available TikTok content and related utilities. TTViewer is not affiliated with TikTok or ByteDance.
1. What we process
Depending on how you use the service, we may process:
- Optional account data: if you sign in (for example with Google), we store your account email and credits / purchase-related records needed to operate paid features.
- Safety & opt-out requests: if you submit a removal request, we store the TikTok username/URL, your contact email, request reason, optional short note, and technical metadata (such as approximate time and IP) so we can process, audit, and prevent abuse.
- Technical & security data: IP address, browser/user-agent, basic request logs, rate-limit counters, and security cookies (for example bot/challenge clearance) to keep the site reliable and reduce abuse.
- Analytics: aggregated usage metrics (for example Google Analytics) such as pages viewed, device/browser type, and approximate location derived from IP.
- Advertising partners: third-party ad networks (for example Monetag / Adsterra) may set cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads.
- Payment processors: if you buy credits, payment providers process payment details under their own policies; we store order status and credit amounts, not full card numbers.
- Public content caches: we may temporarily cache public profile/video metadata to improve performance. This is public platform data, not your private messages or private accounts.
Core public viewing does not require a TikTok login. We do not ask for your TikTok password.
2. How we use information
- Operate and improve the viewer, search, download helpers, and related tools
- Authenticate optional accounts and apply credits
- Process safety, opt-out, DMCA, and support requests
- Prevent spam, scraping abuse, fraud, and cost attacks on our infrastructure
- Measure traffic and show advertising where enabled
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use:
- Necessary cookies for session, security clearance, and basic site function
- Analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage
- Advertising cookies set by third-party ad partners
You can control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may break sign-in, security checks, or other features.
4. Sharing
We may share data with:
- Infrastructure and data providers that host or operate the service
- Analytics and advertising partners
- Payment processors for purchases
- Authorities when required by law, or to protect safety and our rights
We do not sell your name or email as a standalone product list.
5. Retention
Account and order records are kept while your account is active and as needed for accounting or legal purposes. Opt-out / blocklist records are kept so blocked profiles stay blocked and we can handle appeals. Temporary caches and rate-limit data expire automatically. Server logs are kept for a limited operational period.
6. Your choices
- Request removal of your TikTok profile from TTViewer via our Safety & Opt-Out page
- Contact us at [email protected] about account data or privacy questions
- Disable non-essential cookies in your browser where available
Blocking a profile on TTViewer only affects our service. It does not change TikTok privacy settings or remove content from TikTok.
7. Children
TTViewer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. International processing
Our servers and vendors may process data in different countries. By using TTViewer you understand that information may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised policy.
