at last, resident evil requiem is here 💼🖤 here are my thoughts so far (PLS NO SPOILER) ↓ MASTERPIECE. MAGICAL. INCREDIBLE… yeah it is that serious…Taking my time with it is definitely difficult but I truly want to fully savor it as much as possible because I dread the day I will reach the end. It s just so good!!! I’ve only played it for a few hours, and yet I can still confidently say that it has exceeded all my expectations. I love the alternation between horror and action when playing as Grace or Leon. It creates a perfect balance in my opinion. RE2 remake is quite high in my tier list but I always thought separating the character’s journey into two playthroughs kind of break the immersion a little, so I am very pleased by the format that they chose for RE9. Additionally, I absolutely adore Grace. I think she is such an interesting and refreshing character for the franchise. Unlike most of our iconic heroes who are literally superhumans capable of punching boulders (I am looking at you, Mr. Chris Redfield), I think it is great to play an anxious character whose reactions and skills are more realistic given the terrifying world they live in haha. And what can I say about my dear Leon… It’s a bittersweet feeling to see him again in this new installment. On one hand, I’m so incredibly happy about his return, and it must be said that he’s still as cool as ever. But I also desperately wish the man could catch a break from being traumatized…I did not know I could love Leon’s character more, but here we are. Resident Evil is one of my absolute favourite video game franchises and weirdly enough has brought me a lot of comfort over the last few years sonI am beyond grateful and excited to be able to experience this new entry 🖤
