1. Quick Start & Setup

To start using the extension after installation, follow these simple steps:

Open Google Chrome and navigate to any TikTok creator/competitor profile page (e.g., https://www.tiktok.com/@username).
You will see the Radar Toolbar automatically render above the video grid, displaying scanned videos count, and identified commercial candidates.
A high-contrast badge (e.g., "Confirmed Ad" or "Priority Research") will appear directly on the high-value video cards in the native TikTok grid.
Click on any tagged video to enter the details page, where the side panel will display recommendations, baseline data, and the "Analyze Comment Signals" button.

2. Core Features

Smart Candidate Tagging

Radar scans native video cards on the creator page. By checking product anchors and normalized view growth against the creator’s median baseline, we tag and recommend the Top 3 to 5 videos. This allows you to ignore low-commercial-value entertainment clips and zero in on real money-making videos.

AI Comment Verification & Insights

When you click "Analyze Comment Signals" on a video details page, the extension safely gathers up to 200-300 publicly accessible comments. AI processes them locally for duplicates, translates them into Simplified Chinese, and generates a structured report summarizing overall commerce effectiveness, strong purchase intent ratios, pain points, purchase resistance factors, and target audience cues.

3. Permissions Transparency & Compliance

During installation, Chrome may prompt you to approve specific permissions. Here is exactly why we require them and how we protect your security:

"downloads":Solely used to download media files. When you click the "Download Video" or "Download Soundtrack" buttons on a post, the extension communicates with the standard Chrome Downloads API to save the public TikTok MP4 or M4A/AAC audio stream directly into your computer's designated downloads folder. We do not access, monitor, or manage any of your other downloaded files.
"storage":Used for local caching. We use Chrome's local storage to remember your extension UI configurations (e.g., toggled view preferences) and temporarily cache analyzed data to avoid repetitive backend requests and keep performance snappy.
"identity":Used for sign-in validation. The extension integrates Google OAuth Sign-In to associate a secure user ID with your profile. This allows us to track your daily free AI analysis quota. We never access your Google contacts, email content, or personal files.
Host Permissions:We require permissions for https://*.tiktok.com/* to inspect and overlay tags on the page DOM structure, and https://api.ttanonviewer.com/* to communicate with our secure AI backend processing engine.

4. Troubleshooting & FAQ

Why is the Radar Toolbar not showing up?

Please verify that you are on a public creator profile page (e.g., https://www.tiktok.com/@username). If you recently installed the extension, you may need to reload the active TikTok tab once to initialize the DOM listener.

Why did my comment scraping pause or stop unexpectedly?

The scraper scrolls the active viewport comments container at randomized, gentle intervals to simulate human behavior and avoid trigger rate-limit blocks on your account. If the viewport changes, the network disconnects, or TikTok temporarily throttles the feed, the scraper will gracefully pause and allow you to manually finalize the report with whatever comments have been collected so far.

Does this extension block or bypass TikTok privacy controls?

No. In strict compliance with TikTok policies, we do not view, crawl, or access private creator profiles, private/hidden comments, or deleted videos. All analysis is strictly limited to standard, public, front-end data.

How is my daily AI quota calculated?

First-time users can generate their first AI report immediately without an account. Once you link your Google Account inside the settings panel, you will receive a free daily quota that resets automatically every 24 hours.
